I loved how you answered my family or my daughter to almost ever question. We are both very lucky to have such wonderful families. I know not every gets that.

It’s kinda funny how a lot of the questions she asked you came back to the same answer; your daughter. Children can be amazing if you let them. I also agree that I don’t think I would want to know the future. The past is gone, and if you look into the future, then you are living in the past, are you not? You can shape your life by living each day the way you want, and I believe if you do that then you know how your future is going to be anyway.

I solved my depression by becoming a great juvenile delinquent. I did everything except murder. Fortunately, I grew out of it by the time I was an adult. Mostly through music and simply keeping my hands and mind busy so that they didn’t have time for depression.

I’m so glad you’re writing about the way we try to classify people as one thing or another. We all need to stop being so judgmental and realize the extent to which we participate in it.

I think you are only as beautiful as you believe you are. To look beautiful from outside, you must convince yourself inside that you’re as good or even better than the rest of the world. Have confidence in yourself, and that will shine through!!

I really enjoyed reading your post. i think every teenager (esp girls) struggle with the same feelings at some point or another. I did too, for a while… but then i realised that the world sees me as i see myself. No more, no less. That realisation helped me to grew out this phase :)
